About Us

Global Recycle and Environmental Concern is a project that has interest and commitment in a variety of ways to serve the environment through gathering and recycling a range of goods and products in a sustainable way and using those products which we have received from donors some of which are new or used repackaging and treating them and making those available to members of the community locally or abroad for the benefit of those that will need it.

 

On one hand we are helping to protect and minimise the depleting of the environment and on the other hand assisting those who are in most need who would otherwise not been able to make a start in life without going into financial hardship or even total deprivation where they couldn't afford those. In the case of those products that will never have been in demand at all within the United Kingdom we will forward those to other less privileged parts of the third world countries in Africa, Asia, or the Caribbean. So we are happy to collect and receive donations of goods and products which we have listed on the website.

Why We Do It?

Global Recycle and Environmental Concern is doing this to protect the environment because every product or luxury and non-luxury goods which we enjoy today in our homes, offices and all around us have the materials in making them derived from the environment. Unfortunately some of this cannot be replaced. The products from these materials also cannot be disposed safely without damaging the environment or without incurring more damage to the environment. We are aware that most of the products that we throw away into land fill sites or are stock piled in our homes or other places or the surplus of what we individually or collectively own can be shared or passed on to those who don't have the same opportunity whether within our immediate community or beyond as a matter of fact with the world of today is a global village so we have to be one another's keeper in the interest of our common destiny.

How We Do It?

By gathering and collecting the products and materials donated to us, treating them and making those available to people who need them. Those who donate these products are getting a free service from us because otherwise they would have been paying for collection of the goods and the people we give these goods to have the benefit of our service as well and if they are sponsored locally they will not have to make any payment to us but if they are on low-income or state benefit they will normally be sponsored. Otherwise they may be required to make a modest token payment to cover the minimum delivery service cost. Some categories of recipients who do not qualify as being in poor or deprived will have to make a more modest payment.
